The mission of the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management (HIM) program is to produce ethical healthcare professionals who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be successful managers of healthcare data and information. The program focuses on three core areas: health sciences, healthcare administration, and information technology. The program also seeks to enhance life-long learning and prepare students with the advocacy skills to protect patient and consumer rights.
